Verdict

Disappointingly just the five runners line up for this handicap hurdle including recent easy Southwell selling winner Tharaya, who takes a step back up in class today but has to be considered following that win last time, although a better bet may be TWO LEFT BOOTS, who gets the verdict ahead of Kayf Commander. Mel Brittain's gelding has yet to win a race but he has run some reasonable races and has slipped to a fair mark so cannot be discounted. Tracy Waggott's Waldo Winchester has been well held in recent starts and of more interest may be Howard Johnson's Motive, who has disappointed of late but has slipped to a decent mark as a result. The vote though goes the way of Two Left Boots, who makes his debut for Tim Vaughan today having shown some promise for Anthony Mullins previously and, given his new handler does well with runners coming from other stables, he looks worth chancing in a race that should not take much winning.
