Rathlin had a tremendous career in Ireland winning eight times and scored over this trip on heavy ground for Micky Hammond at Ayr in March. He's probably better over further and may just need this after a long break. Back To Bracka is another who may find this on the short side while Doctor Phoenix, who completed a double over this trip a year ago, has an even longer absence to contend with having last been seen running moderately at Musselburgh on New Year's Day. Ubaltique isn't the most consistent but has still managed seven career victories including on testing ground so he's one to keep an eye on while Trust Thomas, a winner here in April, ran very well at Ayr last time and would be a threat in that kind of form. AYE WELL beat the latter four lengths here last year and had a comfortable victory from this mark at Kelso in March. A recent run should have put him right for this and with his rider's claim a bonus he can return to winning ways.
