In depth

Verdict

Just Be Lucky had been threatening to win for some time before scoring at Haydock on Friday for which he has a 6lb penalty. He won't mind the extra furlong and looks certain to go well. At the other end of the handicap, Charles De Mille gained his first success for over two years at Nottingham earlier this month when he was well supported so a 3lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Ingleby Spring is generally thereabouts but is 6lb higher than her only victory to date while Lightning Spree has yet to win and has gone up 4lb for finishing third at Hamilton. DANA'S PRESENT was beaten a head in a much better race than this at Goodwood last summer and after a long losing spell is down to a very lenient mark. He would have gone close at Bath last time but for being impeded and should give supporters a good run.
