In depth

Verdict

Just the three runners line up for this handicap chase and, provided that he puts in a clear round, Finzi should be too good for Omni Cosmo Touch and Why The Big Paws. The last mentioned has given little sign of encouragement of late although Richard Guest's gelding may do better now that he races on a softer surface. Tom George has his string in good form at present so Omni Cosmo Touch has to be respected but he would need to improve on recent evidence to trouble the selection Finzi. Michael Scudamore's gelding has been running consistently well of late, including under similarly testing conditions and is taken to resume winning ways here.
