Verdict
STANLEY STANLEY has been absent since July 2021 but Venetia Williams has frequently worked the oracle with lengthy absentees and it's notable to see the Camelot mare making her return to action with a fencing debut. She landed a couple of handicap hurdles for Paul Nicholls when last seen and hopefully the market will speak well of her chance. Midnight Mary has proved herself a thoroughly likeable hurdler for Stuart Edmunds and ran well after a break on a first start for new connections. She'll be a player if exhibiting similar consistency and enthusiasm now tackling fences. Swincombe Fleat and La Renommee need to put poor latest efforts behind them, whereas Lincoln Lyn, very much an improver, arrives in really good heart and has every chance of supplementing recent gains.
