    Verdict

Freds In The Know, a very smart handicap hurdler last year, made an extremely pleasing chasing debut behind the useful Log On Intersky at Catterick last time and, with that experience under his belt, can go one better here. The obvious danger would be Sir Storm, who has run up against some good horses since winning over course and distance in November, and seems sure to run his race again here. The others make little appeal although Kelso winner Fiori has shown enough to suggest he can at least finish in the frame here.
