Verdict
The action on the Polytrack gets underway with a rather moderate contest and Other Routes is taken to confirm the promise of his recent effort over course and distance. Gary Moore's charge appeared to appreciate the step up in trip when making smooth headway to challenge in the straight but just found the winner too strong. The form has worked out well and the son of Efisio remains unexposed at this trip so should prove hard to beat off his current mark. Indian Blaze has been in fine form of late, winning three times over course and distance, and confirmed his well being with a close third in handicap company last time. Andrew Reid's charge should be thereabouts once again while the lightly raced Tiger Tops was having his first start for 10 weeks when a close third last time with Mana Pools further behind and is entitled to improve. Uno Mente has shaped as though he will be suited by this step up in trip and looks best of the remainder.
