After a promising start to life over hurdles OVTHENIGHT gets the selection but only just ahead of Nino Cochcise and Banquet. Pam Sly has the pick in good form at the moment and took a decent looking third place in a slightly better race last time. A dual winner on the flat he's proved his stamina for hurdling and looks open to much more improvement. Nino Cochise showed a lot more on his hurdles debut than he had on the level recently. He presented aptitude for jumping in that contest when third of just five runners but it was in a much better class and he'll benefit for the easier company here. Banquet has some winner form on the flat and took to attempting this code for the first time last time, which was a solid debut when fourth of thirteen. Will need a more patient ride this time after being ridden up front in that last outing and as a result found little at the business end. With some progress he has a small chance. Any money finding its way to Thunderstruck should be noted but Ovthenight is our pick.
