Not much experience for us to go on here, and the TEAMtalk vote goes to Maybe The Business, who was leading when coming down three from home at Chepstow last time. Though it was a little too far out to call him the winner, he certainly looked to be in the process of running a big race and he can gain compensation following a long trip here. Of the remainder with form, Gardor ran well until blowing up a quarter of a mile from home at Haydock first time and he should come on for that and be involved in the finish here. Of the rest, Society Buck showed a bit of ability to win a Sedgefield bumper in the summer, though he was well beaten on soft ground next time and there must be a doubt over the ground for him here. Motafayel comes from a yard that can't stop having winners just lately, and as his career best effort was on soft ground, he too could go well on his hurdles debut. Of the racecourse debutantes, Positive Profile makes most appeal. Last time out he finished eighth behind Miss Fara in the Tote Cesarewitch, so arguably this might not be a tough enough test of stamina for him, though market support would be a definite plus.
