In depth
Verdict
Tayman can win again with his penalty at the expense of Lawaaheb and The Saltire Tiger. The selection was in winning form at Worcester last time out and connections are keen to get another run and hopefully another win out of him before the handicapper gets a chance to reassess him. His form has been relatively consistent but he does favour a fast surface so anymore over night rain will not help his chances. That said he looks the form pick and if reproducing his best he will be difficult to beat. Lawaaheb caught the eye when second to Mr Midaz over course and distance recently. Again he favours a fast surface and has struggled when the ground eases. The Saltire Tiger on the other hand has had jumping problems of late falling over fences at Musselburgh before falling over hurdles at Perth thereafter. He has shown a decent level of ability in the past but confidence in the camp must be wearing thin and improvement in the jumping department will have to be shown. A race with more questions than answers but for the winner we return to Tayman who has more boxes ticked compared to his rivals.
