Verdict

It says much for the quality of this handicap chase that Allanard heads the weights having been beaten in a selling handicap on his latest start. However, he is a course and distance winner and that was his first outing for over three months. He still retains solid claims in a modest affair. Cara Court is an equally solid type but reserves all his winning for Catterick and Sedgefield whilst Milan Royale has been way below par the last twice and will not want further rain. Course and distance winner, Pistol Basc, has a squeak but LITTLE JIMMY makes greater appeal. Admirably consistent, he's posted four wins and five seconds from the last eleven attempts, seems sure to run his race and receives weight all round.
