Banno looked in need of a much stiffer test on his debut at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day so this should prove ideal. BURREN LIFE couldn't quite match the pace of Borderline Chatho over slightly shorter at Naas but the remainder were well beaten and compensation awaits. Vanellope didn't act on heavy ground at Thurles after a better run at Fairyhouse earlier though the main threat may arrive in the shape of Texas Theatre, who caught the eye with a powerful late run at Limerick last July and has changed stables.
