Verdict

Soldier At War is penalised for his battling victory over 2m4f at Sligo and didn't appreciate the drop to this trip at Ballinrobe. Effernock Fizz had shown nothing before making all and creating a 66/1 shock at Tipperary where she came home virtually alone. If that form is taken at face value she would be very difficult to beat but BACHELOR looks more likely to replicate his latest run over 2m2f at Kilbeggan, where he was in the lead at this trip and only headed close home. Do Ya Feel Lucky stayed on really well to land the spoils at Tramore though was receiving 22lb from the winner and this looks tougher.
