Verdict

MR PICOTEE won this last year and is just 3lb higher. He looks to have been primed for another crack having been beaten a head at Clonmel last week and can go one better. Quamino gained his only victory to date over the track and trip and has run very well in both subsequent starts though is now 12lb higher. Nulife won a course and distance handicap last summer and scored on the level at Dundalk in March while The Birdie Crowe has been competing at a high level since her maiden victory at Limerick in July. The King Of Brega has failed to take advantage of a lower hurdle mark though ran in a tougher handicap than this on his reappearance and will enjoy the conditions. Le Vagabond is a smart handicapper on the Flat who has won twice over timber so he's one for the shortlist.
