In depth

Verdict

Cairnhill had been running on very heavy ground before showing a bit more potential in better conditions at Kilbeggan where he had Cote Tete 6l behind. Winning point-to-pointer Calderone showed up well for a long way on his hurdling debut at Cork though that was over 3m and this could be a bit short. Kickham has shown very little so far and Famous Day has yet to reach a place in nine starts. MORE INFORMATION has some scope and was showing improvement when falling two out at Clonmel. She could prove good enough in what looks a poor opener.
