Verdict

Jim Bolger took the unusual step of racing Cul Baire in bumpers and it paid off when he scored very easily at Galway. That was over 2m and this is a big drop in distance but Kevin Manning will make use of his stamina and he's certain to be thereabouts. LEBRON didn't show much on his debut in April and was given a long break before returning at Leopardstown a fortnight ago where he showed his true form behind Something Graceful. With further progress likely he looks the one to be on here. Gumption has been well beaten on testing ground but may do better in these conditions but winning hurdler Nearest The Pin appears to need much further.
