Verdict

Wells China dotted up at Clonmel last time out and while it's hard not to be taken by the manner of that victory, it did obtain on appreciably softer going. CHINOOK RUN isn't the most frequent of winners but he faces no such issues, and the previous course winner can get back to winning ways. Snowell attempts to break his maiden at the tenth time of asking although he has shown some improvement for the application of headgear. Profoundly never saw the track for Godolphin and while missing the kick badly in a recent maiden, she has shown enough to suggest that she is capable of picking up a small race. Glendaars Best was heavily punted at Ballinrobe and it will be interesting to see whether those supporters will be seeking to recoup their losses.
