Verdict

JACK THE HAT won this race last year and having recently obliged at Ballinrobe, we'll take Noel Lawlor's charge to overcome a 6lb penalty for that success. Drumlister fell over fences recently but he still looks to be well treated over the smaller obstacles. Arthur Moore's seven-year-old dotted up at Tramore off a mark of 90 and the handicapper hasn't been unduly harsh in allotting a 5lb rise. Good Decision is another to be higher rated over fences, and he was not disgraced at Bellewstown on his first run over hurdles for some time. Corr Point re-opposes on better terms and Colm Murphy tries the cheekpieces for the first time. Lake Return has ran respectably at Downpatrick on his last two starts and he holds every chance if running to the pick of his form.
