In depth

Verdict

A better division of this poor quality event with several arriving in decent form. The Gnathologist has only won once over hurdles and is 11lb higher but again ran well behind Pink Goddess at Downpatrick. Celtic Cailin hasn't had much experience which may prove against her while Never Bold is 8lb higher than for his only success and has gone up 4lb for being beaten by Clonsilla Affairs at Clonmel. OPERA MUSIC was given a patient ride by Robert Jones at Tramore but found his path blocked when attempting to pass The Rossmeister and was beaten a head. He gets the vote here and Kai Li, who runs in the previous race, was just behind so the form could be given a boost. Grand Cru won twice on fast going on the Flat while the combination of Tony Martin and Ruby Walsh are always to be feared so the lightly-raced Annie Go is worth a check in the market.
