      Verdict

These amateur events are tricky enough but this field houses a minefield of question marks. The trio who dominate the weights are hard to support with Glass Mountain not having beaten a rival the last twice, Star Rover yet to score over further than 5f and Haadeeth finishing last of 24 at Ascot last weekend. Fire King was also plum last on his latest run, George Thisby and The Name Is Frank have yet to win over this trip but are respected and Potentiale was beaten in a seller last time. So we'll go with the younger brigade and take FROSTY BERRY to step up on a useful latest effort when runner-up over a mile at Pontefract behind Miss Ella Jade. Lady Sylvia has respectable claims too but a careful eye must be kept on Gallego. He's a tricky old veteran but was noted running on steadily last time late on and is to be taken seriously if market support arrives as he goes very well here.
