RUDY CATRAIL, who won a course and distance handicap by 17 lengths last September, has continued to perform with credit over hurdles and fences and made all for a very easy victory over timber at Tipperary last week. He's shot up the handicap but will be difficult to catch in that sort of form. Cushinstown Finest is improving over fences and chased home The Trigger at Downpatrick while Minella United should have more to offer after just two starts over the bigger obstacles. Robin Deuz Pois was a reserve in the 4.55 at Downpatrick yesterday but looks the main threat here as he scored over slightly shorter at Newcastle in March and will be better for last month's reappearance over hurdles.
