In depth

Verdict

Dandridge won this in 2015 and finished an excellent fourth in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham in March though he's still looking a few pounds high. Grade 2 winner Ned Stark undoubtedly disappointed last season and was having his first start for new connections when well beaten on his reappearance at Gowran last month. Static Jack bounced back to form at Punchestown and with just 1lb extra to carry has to be a threat while Tesseract didn't get the run of the race at Galway and is better judged on his earlier victory on the same track. Lisclogher Lad is 1-26 and hasn't run since April but SIR JACK YEATS wins his share and has been competing at a higher level since winning a Tramore handicap easily in August so looks the one to be on in an open handicap.
