Verdict

Hurricane Harvey had to be ridden out to land the odds at Ludlow and the second has disappointed since, though the third won a handicap subsequently. St Barts was still green at Uttoxeter but got the job done in impressive fashion and there should be more to come. A switch to jumping should suit Legende de Minuit but a similar comment applies to SOUTHFIELD HARVEST, who is a half-brother to five winners. The latter beat Stolen Silver in a Chepstow bumper last April and that one has developed into a decent novice hurdler this winter.
