Carole's Destrier bids to improve on his fifth in this last year but his yard also run The Young Master and the novice Fingerontheswitch. The latter still has something to learn about jumping fences but the former had Southfield Theatre behind when winning the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in April. The penny dropped with PRESENT MAN over 2m4f here last month and the third Gentleman Jon won over a longer trip here subsequently so Jack Sherwood's mount may be the one to beat, though Ziga Boy was quite highly tried after recording a double at Doncaster at the turn of the year and will be interesting when dropped a few more pounds.
