Verdict

THE PACKAGE never landed a blow from off the pace twelve months ago as Ellerslie George ran them ragged from the front and Nick Mitchell's charge is fitted with blinkers in an attempt to get him back to the same sort of form. It's possible that the same scenario could arise but Timmy Murphy will surely be alive to that danger and there should be more to come from David Pipe's chaser this season. Triggerman moves into handicap company on a fair mark whilst Forest Pennant is open to improvement in his season season chasing. Irish Raptor could run a big race if allowed to get into a rhythm at the head of the field but a more obvious threat comes from Ouzbeck who ran a decent race at Cheltenham on his return but his chance may hinge on the weather as any rain will be against him.
