Verdict
This may be low-grade fare but it is not uncompetitive. Mi Laddo has placed three times since successful at Taunton in October and Midnight Callisto found only one too good at that track last month with Letsbe Avenue and Gaelic Thunder behind. Kendelu is back in the right grade after coming up short at Huntingdon with Rectory Oak another possibility having only a second run in a handicap. PLANNED PARADISE won in a canter at Newcastle. He’s been raised 11lb but there is almost certainly plenty more to come after just four hurdle runs whereas Pittsburg’s victory at Catterick was a bolt out of the blue which he may have trouble repeating.
