      Verdict

      Desque De L'isle hasn’t been disgraced in better company since winning at Ffos Las in the autumn and holds Catterick winner Out On The Tear on Sandown running. Grey Diamond won at Sandown the last time he raced in this grade but BELLE DE MANECH (NAP) came with a rare rattle to win a competitive mares’ race here on Boxing Day and has every chance of a quick double if she can lay up with the pace over this shorter trip. Glajou has proved hard to place but Casa Tall should be thereabouts again.
