Verdict
SAMBURU SHUJAA gets closer with every start and was beaten less than a length when third in a tight finish at Exeter. He still showed signs of inexperience on that occasion but Philip Hobbs’ charge should go close again. Dual point-to-point winner King Calvin could only manage fourth on his hurdling bow but better is expected here while Secret Investor is weighted to get involved on these terms though has been well beaten recently. The remaining pair have yet to show any worthwhile form.
