I'm A Legend has been running consistently well of late and the six-year-old has to be respected but he has yet to race on ground faster than good to soft so may be best watched and a safer bet looks to be Avant Gardiste, who gets the vote with Beechwood rated the pick of the remainder. The selection was good value for his success here last month when beating his nearest rival by five lengths but value for more and he is taken to defy the 7lb penalty for that success. Barodine was an early faller behind the selection last time and has claims on the pick of his form but it is hard to know how that fumble will have affected him. A market move for Towerofcharlemagne would be of interest, while Just Superb ran better at Leicester last time and would have every chance if able to build on that effort. Beechwood has been running well in sellers and claimers of late and has claims but it is Avant Gardiste that gets the vote.
