A very interesting renewal of the Grade 2 Elite Hurdle that pits Quazar against Santenay. Quazar was one of the top juvenile novices last year, winning six times, including at Punchestown and Aintree, and has earned a 33/1 quote for the Champion Hurdle. He has to concede weight to the field and we'll find out a lot more about him today. Santenay was a deeply impressive winner of the Free Handicap at Chepstow and his reappearance has been eagerly awaited. Today is an acid test day for him. He is only four, though, and, as they say, could be anything. Running Man comes here in good form, but he has been chasing of late. Overall, it looks to be between Quazar and Santenay and maybe Santenay can just get the better of the topweight and confirm the impression he left at Chepstow. Santenay is the TEAMtalk selection.
