Verdict
We'll side with Zaffamore in this race but each of the runners can be given a chance. From the in-form Henrietta Knight stable, the selection goes well on good ground, which is no surprise as he has had trouble with his breathing. Much as he's now rated 10lbs higher than for his Kempton win in January, he looks set to go well in this small field and on this good going. Perange is only seven pounds better off for finishing over 20 lengths behind Trouble Ahead at Ascot last time. However, Perange had earlier beaten Trouble Ahead at Taunton, although that was on soft going. Former French winner Sky Warrior has shown enough to suggest he can win races in Britain and Hiers de Brouage's third here last time from a three-pound higher mark also gives him claims. As we say, it's a tricky race but we'll still side with Zaffamore.
