Monte Cavallo has claims on his best form over timber but Joker Choker has shown little since returning from nearly a year off the track. CHESIL BEACH BOY found a couple too good at Newbury last time but went close to catching Jumps Road over these hurdles before that. John Coombe's charge gets the vote on that form, though might not run if the ground dries out further. Sporting Boy has failed to cope with a hike in the weights after landing a double at the end of last year and both Ivan Vasilevich and Drussell have also suffered from a rise in the handicap but the headstrong Marodima goes well fresh and shouldn't be ignored.
