Verdict

Philip Hobbs has sent out four of the last seven winners so ANTIPHONY will likely prove popular. He has found one too good the last twice and should make another bold bid in this modest company. Blue April faded into fifth having run well for a long way at Haydock last time while Old Magic won an amateurs' race at Bangor last month but disappointed at Chepstow after that and is 8lb higher today. The remainder will need dramatic improvement if they are to get involved though Whitstable Native ran a bit better at Southwell on Friday.
