Verdict
Chief Cashier won an admittedly average event at Ludlow in good style and a 6lb-rise should not stop him from being competitive with the same amateur rider on board. Roman King was four lengths in front of him at Kempton in December but, now racing from 7lbs out of the handicap, Roman King is 9lbs worse off. Sharpaten won at the Aintree Festival in 2000 (from a mark of 132, now 123) and has one run since being transferred from Ireland. Just Murphy is not unfairly treated on what he has so far achieved and looks set to play a part here. Achilles Wings won this race last year from a mark of 111 (now 120) but has been aimed at this. It would be no surprise to see Wuxi Venture improve for a step back in trip from his Plumpton run. Still a maiden over hurdles, some of his placed efforts read well. Terek is also entitled to consideration on his second to Search And Destroy last time. However, as he is in good heart, Chief Cashier is taken as the selection.
