        Verdict

        This is probably not a race to get too heavily involved in and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Noble Calling, who is preferred to Whitton Park and So Sure. The last mentioned was still in contention when falling three out at Exeter behind Manawanui earlier in the week, a race in which the selection finished a close up fourth and, with the Ron Hodges stable in good form, he looks worth a bet to resume winning ways. The Paul Nicholls-trained Whitton Park is lightly raced and open to more improvement than most,. He has to be respected on his debut in this grade, as does Tom George's Irish Distinction who can be relied upon to run his usual good race. Captain Hardy showed his first worthwhile form for some time at Folkestone last month and is another worthy of a mention along with selling winner Cliquey. However, Ron Hodges has his team in good form at present and is taken to land another prize, this time with Noble Calling.
