Alan King's Cool Stone ran well on a second bumper start last March behind a better-fancied stablemate and now makes her hurdling debut and is obviously one to take careful note of. Get The Game has his first start under the newly-formed O'Brien and McPherson banner and some useful pointing form does bring him into contention for this hurdling bow, although he was beaten a long way in a bumper when last seen in May. PUFFIN BAY (NAP) was a beaten favourite in a fair Huntingdon novice hurdle last time but that run still sets the standard here and prior to that she only succumbed by the minimum margin behind Karlie in an Exeter maiden hurdle.
