In depth

Verdict

Classic Clover is preferred to I'm Supreme and Highland Chief. The selection has taken a while to find his form but now that he has he could be worth following despite the handicapper's attentions. He's 9lbs higher than when winning each of his last two starts but the blinkers have clearly had a positive effect and he's taken to complete his hat-trick. I'm Supreme is unexposed and appeared to be one to follow but his supporters will need to forgive a poor display in a big field at Newbury. Recent indications have been that the handicapper has got to Highland Chief but he's pretty consistent and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see him land a race of this type over the summer but on this occasion we believe that the supporters of Classic Clover will be in the clover.
