Verdict

A competitive contest gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Odal D'airy, Wishes Or Watches and Sam Lord and the narrow vote is given to Wishes Or Watches. The selection won well last time out, will relish conditions and with his yard in form he looks a value bet. Odal D'airy rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Lindop. He enters handicaps off what looks a handy mark and with his yard in form he should be watched in the market. Sam Lord was a fair sort on the flat but has only showed a modicum of ability over hurdles so far and he has looked a non stayer so he is taken on with this in mind. Roofing Spirit was a fair third behind Roznic when last seen but he looks vulnerable under top weight after a 239 day break. Of the others Jigsaw Dancer is from a yard in form and could go well at a price off his light weight, but for the winner we return to Wishes Or Watches who looks progressive.
