    In depth

    Verdict

First Quest was beaten 10 lengths by Manor Park at Newton Abbot in July and is only 5lb better off. The latter finished ahead of Sufi and Leroy Leroy when third at Plumpton last month and should come out best of that trio again. Still unexposed over hurdles, COGITAL has been running well in staying races on the Flat and can land the finale ahead of the progressive Nicholls’ maiden Famoso.
