Janus is improving while High Wells was very well backed back over hurdles at Newton Abbot after a good season on the Flat but didn’t appear to last home over that 2m5f trip. Guardia Top has been chasing and Ardmayle is probably also better known in that sphere, though found only one too good over the smaller obstacles when last racing in January. El Borracho has struggled the last twice in handicap company but PRINCESS T has been coping with a hike up the ratings and has decent claims again here. Pasley is having a first run for Jonjo O’Neill but can’t be ignored.
