Verdict

ASK FOR GLORY was thought good enough to run in last year’s Champion Bumper. He led until 2 out when fourth in a hot-looking maiden hurdle at Newbury in November and will be a short price in this. Minella Beat also had decent bumper form and found only one too good on his hurdling debut at Fontwell in October. He’s had wind surgery since and should be winning soon. Eurowork was beaten more than 25 lengths when fourth at Exeter and is held on collateral form but may be best of the rest.
