In depth
Verdict
Dentley De Mee has placed twice over fences and looks capable of winning races at this level when he gains a bit more experience. Ballybolley won off a 7lb higher mark last season but this terms efforts have left a bit to be desired. Silverhow has also become disappointing while Henryville is starting to look a light for former days but Overland Flyer travelled strongly for much of the way over 3m1f here 11 days ago and could appreciate a drop in distance. David Maxwell has won twice on Chef D'Equipe but his mount is looking a shade high in the weights over fences at present. OPENING BATSMAN is a teenager but goes best on right-handed tracks and was a fair third to a subsequent winner off a higher mark here last time – he can roll back the years by landing this.
