Verdict

Turban is maddeningly inconsistent but this is his grade, though he was well behind Bredon Hill Lad at Fontwell last time. Tikkapick took advantage of a tumbling mark at Taunton eight days ago and, despite a 7lb rise, is still feasibly handicapped. Sizing Brisbane could figure but VEXILLUM is very well treated back over the larger obstacles and the booking of Sam Twiston-Davies suggests he’ll be ready for his first run since the autumn.
