Verdict

Morcar will almost certainly prove better than he showed at Kempton last year. Pumalin Park beat the odds-on Tawafag a shade cosily at Lingfield last month but was getting 7lb from the winner and the boot is on the other foot here as he is giving weight to ROYAL CAPE, just beaten in an above-average Kempton maiden on his reappearance. The others all have some improving to do.
