Nicky Henderson ended the season in sparkling fashion on Saturday and has a good chance here at a track where he boasts a fine record. There were presumably issues with IOLAOS DU MOU when disappointing in a bumper here in February, but the manner of his previous Newbury success indicated he's a horse with a future. Hopefully he can prove the point now. Duhallow Tommy is another needing to put a poor bumper effort behind him, but previous efforts in that sphere suggest he's one to take seriously too. Classic Anthem is worth a look on hurdling debut and Father Of Jazz starts off for new connections after disappointing the last twice. The main threat, though, looks to be Moonshine Spirit who has the advantage of a run over timber when a fair Chepstow fourth.
