In depth

Verdict

It's a long haul from the Borders country to Kempton, but TELHIMLISTEN is taken to make the journey worthwhile on a first run for the Coltherd team. He's landed five of his last six for Jennie Candlish and now faces his toughest test to date for his new yard, but he remains fairly treated and it's probably best to stay with him until beaten. Balko Saint is back over fences and continues to give the impression that he's better than he's shown over the larger obstacles. It will be disappointing if he doesn't prove competitive here and is seen as the main threat to the selection. Dreaming Blue is respected for an in-form stable, whilst Bagheera Ginge is not discounted despite topweight and the jury is currently out on Name In Lights and Full Of Light.
