Verdict

It's tempting to go with Dolos as he's dropped to a winnable mark and has his conditions. He's been a grand servant to the champion trainer and should go well. However, he has been finding one or two too good for him and RED ROOKIE is preferred on the back of a stylish win at Warwick. He does disappoint occasionally but has every chance despite topweight if at his best. Jay Jay Reilly is coming along nicely over fences and it will be no surprise to see him go close on just a sixth start over the bigger obstacles with conditions to suit. Mercian Prince loves it here and must be respected but Not Available laughed at the handicapper last time when an easy Chepstow scorer and the 7lb rise he's been given may not stop him from being right in the mix once again in what is a really good contest.
