Verdict
Plenty of deadwood here and it would be no surprise if Aegean Line were to get the better of Boing Boing, Mable Riley and Poppyline, despite her having to carry the burden of top weight on this her first start as a three-year-old. The Richard Hannon-trained filly, who got to within a length of Airwave in a maiden at Leicester last July, showed a good level of form as a juvenile and should be suited by this step up in trip. She hails from an in-form yard and she should make a bold bid in this company despite not having the benefit of a high draw. Boing Boing is steadily improving but has improvement to after a moderate display last time. Whilst Mable Riley is a consistent sort but appears to be better on the all weather, so Poppyline could be a value alternative for an each way punt if she puts in anything like her best. She took the step up to a mile in her stride on her reappearance and is better judged on that performance rather than her effort over an inadequate seven furlongs at Folkestone last time. Tintawn Gold could also go well of those at longer odds.
