In depth

Verdict

Recent winners Ballard Down and Wind In My Sails are taking a significant steps up in grade and may be found wanting but I'vegotthepower only weakened in the closing stages of a decent contest at Sandown 11 days ago and should be approaching peak fitness. Medieval is rarely far away at this level and makes more appeal than Family Fortunes with Letsbe Avenue preferred to Mr Tyrrell of the Hannon duo. MARATHA was showing signs of a resurgence on the all-weather at the back-end of last year. He has a much lower rating on Turf and could spring a surprise here if ready after his break.
