Verdict
Citron Major won a Class 3 handicap over 7f at York in May and only just failed to get up when dropped a furlong at Redcar last month. He's been left on the same mark so looks certain to get into contention. Little Boy Blue, raised 2lb after being caught close home over this trip at Epsom, is another likely contender though this can go to MOKAATIL (NAP). Ian Williams' charge makes a quick reappearance after finishing mid-division in the Stewards' Cup Consolation at Goodwood on Saturday. That was a Class 2 handicap and he won at Pontefract at that level earlier this season and is just 1lb higher. Goodnight Girl is a fast-ground specialist as she showed with three victories around this time last year. She showed a bit more dash at Newmarket last time and could be on the way back.
